We want you to have an unique experience in our office

Please read and check list prior to your dental appointment.

  • Complete the online patient registration . If you are unable to complete the forms online, please arrive 15 minutes early to fill them out.
  • Bring your dental insurance card and photo ID for us to copy.
  • Bring list of your current medications and take all routine medications prior to your visit if applicable. If you require  pre-medication with antibiotics for any existing conditions please take the pre- medication one hour prior to your visit.
  • Please  bring the referral  with you to your appointment.
  • Please do not take medication for discomfort for at least 4 to 8 hours prior to your appointment so that an accurate diagnosis can be verified.
  • All patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.

What to expect on your first visit

  • We will review your medical and dental history and will perform a clinical and radiographic examination to  achieve  a diagnosis and  will  discuss  treatment  options
  • If a root canal therapy is indicated   we will discuss in detail the entire procedure.
  • Most of the time root canal therapy can be completed in one visit. However, some treatment  may  require  a second visit. The second visit to finish is at no charge
  • All treatment is performed using local anesthesia. The entire procedure should be very comfortable, that is our  priority.

Financial policy

Dental Insurance

While we are not considered “in network” by most dental insurance companies.  Patients are responsible for all treatment fees at their first visit. Our office staff will submit claims to your insurance company for you.
For your convenience, we accept payments made with, debit cards, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We also offer financing through CareCredit®.

Instructions before and after treatment

Before Treatment

ere are a few suggestions to help you prepare for your visit:
  • Bring a list of your medications.
  • Continue to take your normal daily medications.
  • Eat a normal meal before your visit.
  • Bring your referral slip and x-rays or forward them to our office before your visit.
  • Please do not take medication for discomfort for at least 4 to 6 hours prior to your appointment so that an accurate diagnosis can be established.
  • Many people enjoy listening to music during treatment. Please feel free to bring your headphones and iPod.
Plan on being in our office for approximately 1:30 min to 2 hours. Treatment is performed with local anesthesia so you can drive to and from the office unless special arrangements have been made to take sedative medications.

Endodontic Post-Care Instructions

Thank you for selecting our office for your root canal therapy. Please follow the post-care guidelines below and contact our office with any questions:
  • To prevent any crack or fracture of the remaining tooth structure, and contamination of the treatment, please avoid chewing on that side and  call your dentist to schedule an appointment to restore the tooth   with a permanent restoration or crown soon.
  • Please wait at least one hour before eating or drinking  to allow the temporary filling to set.
  • If prescriptions were provided, please start and take the medication as directed as soon as possible.
  • Although it is rare for a temporary filling to fall out or if it becomes dislodged  please contact your regular dentist promptly.
  • It is normal to experience some discomfort following a root canal. In some cases, the tooth and surrounding tissue may be tender for a few weeks to months after treatment
  • If you experience moderate to severe discomfort or swelling that persists, contact our office immediately please even after hours. Additional medications, may be prescribed, or  we may want to see you at the office.

******Flare up occur about 5% of the time and cause significant pain. These sometimes occur randomly, even on patients that have had root canals done in the past without problems. If you experience moderate to severe pain, swelling, throbbing or general discomfort. Please contact our office.
